2021 has been a very exciting year for us at Klein Dental Arts — and in no small part due to the trust that you, our patients, have instilled in us.

We are thrilled to announce the addition of Dr. Sy Anthony to our practice. Dr. Anthony is a Ripley, Tennessee, native and a University of Tennessee alumni. He is also a graduate of the Creighton University School of Dentistry (same as Dr. Klein — Go Jays!). Dr. Anthony’s interests include fly fishing, hiking, hunting and cheering on the Vols. Dr. Anthony is excited to serve our community, and we are excited to have him with us!

Dr. Blake Reed is a born and raised East Tennessean. He graduated from Lenoir City High School in 2013. From there, he went on to Furman University in Upstate South Carolina, graduating with his Bachelor of Science in 2017. He married his wife, Katie, that summer, then picked up and moved to Louisville, Kentucky, to attend the University of Louisville School of Dentistry.

After graduating with his Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2021, the Reed family made yet another move to the sunny beaches of St. Petersburg, Florida, for Dr. Reed to attend the advanced education in general dentistry program at the University of Florida — but do not worry, he bleeds Tennessee orange! This program had a large focus on dental surgery, implants and comprehensive treatment planning. Dr. Reed, his wife, and their dog, Charlotte, have now returned to the hills of East Tennessee to settle down and plant their roots. They are excited to welcome the fourth member of the family this October — their first child! Dr. Reed is an avid Tennessee football fan, golfer, music lover and soon-to-be connoisseur of all things baby girl.
